About
Cairn is a space for creating digital shrines on the decentralized ATProto network. Like the stone markers that guide travelers through wilderness, these digital cairns serve as waypoints for meaning, memory, and connection.
What is a cairn?
A cairn is a digital space you create where others can visit, interact, and receive blessings. Each cairn has a type that defines its purpose and the kinds of interactions it invites.
Types of Cairns
Prayer
A place for spiritual intentions and quiet reflection.
Memorial
A place to honor and remember those who have passed.
Offering
A place to leave symbolic gifts and gratitude.
Witness
A place to acknowledge truth and bear witness.
Blessings
When you interact with a cairn, you may receive a blessing. You can carry one blessing at a time. When you receive a new blessing, your previous one is archived in your blessing history.
Built on ATProto
Cairn is built on ATProto, the decentralized protocol behind Bluesky. Your cairns live in your personal data repository, and you own your data. Sign in with your Bluesky handle to get started.
